What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. It is used to remember things between visits: for example, what you answered to this very notice.
Which cookies this site uses
This site uses the bare minimum to work.
- plz_cookies (first-party, preference, six months): stores whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so you are not asked again on every page.
- WordPress session cookies (first-party, technical): only created if someone logs in to the site's admin area. Ordinary visitors do not receive them.
Right now this site uses no analytics or advertising cookies, and loads no third-party content that would set them. If that changes, you will be asked first and this page will be updated.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer whenever you like from the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Bear in mind that if you block them all, some websites stop working properly.
How long they last
The cookie holding your answer expires after six months. After that you will be asked again.
